America Needs Total Health Insurance Reform
Complete medical care reform can no longer wait . Rapidly escalating medical insurance expenses are crushing family, business, individual, and government budgets . Employer-sponsored health insurance premiums have risen in the last eleven years, a ratethree times quicker than cumulative pay increases . This forces families to gather around the dinner table and make difficult choices between paying for food or paying health premiums . Given all that we spend on medical care , American families should not be forced into that decision . America spent nearly $2.1 trillion on health care in 2008 , or $6,872 per citizen – about twice the average of other developed countries . Will we be able to change the nation’s health care system before the price becomes impossible? The Obama administration is attempting to find a middle ground with Congress approve health insurance reform law , and are interested about the subject contact your representative .But success it will not be. To be sure, a smaller version of health insurance law is likely to cause more harm than good, because it will render it less easy the introduction of the real significant change that is obviously needed, crucial, imperative and should be unavoidable sooner or later . Even this week the Congress is discussing the likelihood of passing the reform legislation that the Administration is seeking to enact.Let them know that the U.S. needs change before medical care costs damage our vibrant economy. Please consider the children born into the world this decade who won’t have access to the health care we take for granted today because it is still within our reach but may not be available soon .
