Confidently Discovering Fun Singles Events in Denver
Usually, I hate to say it, ’cause its hard to date at my age. Here’s the scoup, this week I broke my resolution and smoked two packs of cigarettes. On a weekend of datelessness, duh! Don’t judge me (j/k!). Is that even legal? Well, that’s when I first thought about finding a date in Dallas or Denver.
Nothing that can’t be fixed. I’ll ease back into dating thru professionally hosted Denver singles events. That sounds like a plan. Prolly wouldn’t be an issue, but it is. After practically choking down some of grandma’s potato salad at Julie’s soccer finals near North Dallas last week, great aunt Judy had to know if I’ve bumped into the woman I’m going to marry. At first I didn’t know what to say to that. My response was, “what’s your deal, yo?”
Can you believe that even The Old Tooter (aka: grandpa) continued harping along the lines of marriage. I said to the family gang: “Dating isn’t for me, but what do you know about dating?”
Guess what? They all laughed at me. Irritated, I rang Margaret to put my dating woes behind me. What a waste of time! Nothing was helping and I needed some damn help. My cousin, who was just deployed on military commission suggested that I enlist in Great Expectations. I said, “Fine, okay.” But it really was a good idea. I can speak highly of Great Expectations Denver.
Early on, dating events were new to me. I showed up already a little anxious, and then I started getting butterflies in my stomach. A mere faux pas didn’t put an end to us from enjoying ourselves. That night I enjoyed was a happy hour not to forget. The host was incredible and I’ll always remember the attractive, single women.
Appearing at these splendid Great Expectations Dallas singles events, I got in touch with a handful of marvelous guys and gals who I could tell share a like-minded spirit when talking about real-world dating. Can’t imagine why I used to let my family get me down about living the bachelor’s life after all these years. Astoundingly enough, matchmaking the Great Expectations way is enjoyable and a remarkably refreshing dating experience.
